Descrizione
Otherwise known as a Caribbean bass, the Schlagwerk MA840 marimbula is a truly remarkable percussion instrument able to literally shape almost endlessly deep bass. While the tuning is pentatonic, each of the eight metal tongues can be tuned individually. The marimbula can be played by hand, but strike it with mallets and you'll be treated to fresh and bright highs. Also, it may look cute and humble in the pictures, but the MA840 is a large instrument that produces a serious amount of bass and is able to add a nice bottom-end to any percussion ensemble.
